Job Description

  • Inventors of Brand Power – the iconic TV advertising platform driving brand sales for almost 40 years.
  • Creators of Home Tester Club – the world's largest digital community of shoppers, delivering social proof content.
  • Hybrid working – 2 days in our Sydney CBD office, 3 days from home.

The Role
We're looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join our Sydney team. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the world's leading consumer goods manufacturers, partnering with senior marketing decision-makers to help grow their brands through our suite of advertising, shopper marketing and consumer engagement solutions.

As an Account Executive, you'll work closely with our senior sales leaders to help build and grow client relationships and win new business. You'll support the sales process from researching prospective clients and identifying opportunities, through to preparing presentations, proposals and quotes and supporting client meetings. You'll also play an important role in managing the day-to-day detail behind our client relationships and sales pipeline.

Whether you’re a graduate or in the early years of your career, this is the perfect opportunity to blend your passion for sales, media, and consumer goods within a truly global business.

If you're commercially curious, highly organised and enjoy working with people, learning how businesses operate and being part of a team that wins new business, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Brand Power Company
The Brand Power Company pioneered third-party endorsement advertising and has remained the global leader in educational advertising for almost 40 years. Our portfolio includes Brand Power, Home Tester Club, Medifacts and Experts Review, helping many of the world's largest FMCG, CPG and OTC brands influence consumer purchasing decisions across television, digital, social media and retail environments.

Home Tester Club has grown into the world's largest digital community of shoppers, delivering ratings and reviews, user-generated content, shopper insights and authentic video content that helps brands build trust and drive sales.

As part of WPP – the world's largest creative transformation company – you'll join a global network spanning more than 110 countries, with exciting opportunities for career growth and development across some of the world's best-known communications, media and advertising businesses.

What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with clients and support senior sales leaders in managing and growing key accounts.
  • Support the identification and development of new business opportunities across Australia and New Zealand, including researching prospects and identifying potential opportunities.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of client accounts, ensuring opportunities, meetings and follow-ups are well organised and actioned.
  • Research clients, brands, categories and market trends to help the sales team prepare for client conversations and identify opportunities.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, quotes and other sales materials to support client pitches and new business opportunities.
  • Support senior sales leaders in client meetings and pitches, helping to bring our advertising and consumer engagement solutions to life.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client, contact and opportunity information in Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Work closely with our Creative, Production and Client Services teams to coordinate campaigns and ensure client requirements are delivered.
  • Stay across market trends, competitor activity and developments across the FMCG, CPG and OTC sectors.
  • Develop your commercial and sales skills while contributing to the team's overall sales and revenue targets.

About You
We're more interested in what you can do than where you've worked. If you're ambitious, commercially minded and motivated by building relationships and achieving results, we'd love to hear from you.

Ideally, you'll bring:
  • 2+ years' experience in sales or a customer-centric environment. We especially love the training grounds and transferrable skills acquired in other careers including retail, real estate, media and volume recruitment
  • Confidence, curiosity and a willingness to engage with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and a willingness to take ownership and get things done.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling presentations and sales materials.
  • An interest in advertising, media, digital marketing or consumer insights.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce (preferred).
  • A degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline (preferred).

Why Join Us?
  • Competitive base salary of plus uncapped commission.
  • Hybrid working model (2 days in our Sydney CBD office, 3 days from home).
  • Work with some of the world's biggest consumer brands.
  • Genuine opportunities for international career progression across WPP's global network.
  • A collaborative, supportive and high-performing team culture.
  • Ongoing learning and professional development.
