We are looking for a Brand Manager – Consumer to help shape and grow our Retail Branded portfolio, leading brand strategy, NPD, and marketing execution across the full marketing mix.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Brand & Category Manager, this role is responsible for initiating and executing all branded elements of the marketing mix across specific categories within our Retail Branded segment across 2 FMCG brands: Birch & Waite and Fresh Fodder.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong commercial and analytical capability and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver standout product launches and communication campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Marketing & Brand Strategy – Support annual category plans to deliver GSV, brand health, and financial targets, aligned to company strategy.
NPD & Project Management – Lead NPD projects from concept through to launch, ensuring strong governance and on-time delivery.
Segment Execution – Execute the marketing plan, review sales and competitor trends, and make recommendations to improve GSV and DM.
Agency & Stakeholder Management – Partner with agencies and suppliers to deliver creative and packaging outcomes that align to brand guidelines.
Digital, Social & Website – Coordinate content development, and social media activity in line with the broader digital strategy.
Communication (ATL & BTL) – Execute campaigns (inc. shopper marketing) – prepare briefs, manage approvals.
Administration & Reporting – Manage budget reconciliation, monthly activity reporting, and regular internal WIP updates.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience as a Brand Manager, ideally within Food & Beverage
Tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing (or equivalent)
Strong commercial and financial management skills, with confidence working with data and insights
Demonstrated ability to build a strategic innovation pipeline and deliver major launches and campaigns
Strong project management capability, with experience leading cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills, including confident presentation and stakeholder influence
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and ideally WordPress
