Who You Are:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at buybuy BABY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, exceptional customer service skills, and a genuine love for baby products. As the Store Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our store by overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and fostering a positive and engaging shopping experience for customers.
What Youll Do:
Assist in the day-to-day management of the retail store, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Provide excellent customer service, offering product knowledge and guidance to customers.
Supervise and train retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate restocking activities.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns in a professional and efficient manner.
Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and train store staff, fostering a positive and customer focused work environment.
Perform opening and closing duties.
Uphold company policies and standards, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Other tasks as required.
What Youll Bring:
Previous retail management experience, preferably in a specialty baby goods store but not required.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and point of sale software.
Ability to effectively train, mentor, and motivate a team of employees.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Bend, stoop, and reach to perform tasks.
Available Shifts:
Monday-Friday, and rotating weekends
