About This Position
What you need to know about this position:
- This position is responsible for working with reimbursement department staff to maintain reimbursements with current procedure and supply coding options, accurate descriptions and definitions of charges.
- The Charge Capture Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for providing education relating to chargemaster maintenance, appropriate charging specific to procedures performed, charge capture documentation, internal servcie line management practices, and reporting compliance.
- This position is responsible for all initiatives pertinent to diagnostic imaging, cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional procedures both cardiac and peripheral that relate to appropriate charging and billing practices.
- The hourly range for this position is $31.01 and 48.51, and the annualized salary is between $64,501 and $100,901. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- This position will require you to work 32 hours a week, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a holiday rotation. This position is partial remote eligible.
What is required for this position:
Education and/or Experience
- Associate degree (A.S.N.) in Nursing required. Bachelor's degree (B.S.N.) preferred. Two to five years' clinical experience in critical/cardiac care. Graduate of approved School of Nursing.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
- RN required; currently licensed to practice nursing in Indiana
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for patient care and assisting in the Cath Lab but not required for work related to charge capture, documentation review, and staff and MD education.
Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
