Practice Manager II at OrthoNY – Mechanicvile, New York

OrthoNY is looking for a Practice Manager to oversee our Glens Falls and Malta Clinics!

The Practice Manager II oversees our Glens Falls and Malta clinics providing advanced operational leadership. This role partners closely with physicians and senior leadership to drive performance, improve patient access, and optimize staffing, workflows, and financial outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide operational leadership across assigned orthopedic clinic sites
• Directly manage supervisors and/or lead staff
• Partner with physicians to improve clinic efficiency, patient throughput, and satisfaction
• Analyze operational metrics including volumes, staffing ratios, and overtime usage
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and process redesign
• Address complex employee relations matters with HR support
• Ensure consistent application of organizational policies across sites
• Support site-level budgeting, expense management, and revenue cycle coordination
• Lead change management initiatives related to growth, acquisitions, or system upgrades
• Other responsibilities as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, or related) strongly preferred

Experience:

• 5–7 years of progressive healthcare management experience
• Multi-site orthopedic or surgical practice experience strongly preferred

Performance Requirements:

• Strong analytical and operational problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership of managers and cross-functional teams
• Ability to influence physicians and senior stakeholders
