Role Overview
A hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing Front of House and outlet operations within the Food & Beverage department at Cotswold Farm Park. The Team Leader supports the delivery of exceptional customer service, drives sales and profitability, and ensures high operational standards across a busy 180-seat restaurant and multiple park outlets. Hours will be based on a 0 hr contract – shifts to include weekends, evenings and bank holidays on a rota basis to support our operations over our peak trading periods. We would anticipate 1-2 days per week during term time and 3-5 days per week during school holidays. Shifts may be available in other departments including Retail and Admissions.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach and motivate F&B team members on shift.
Support training to deliver high service standards aligned with sales targets.
Provide constructive feedback and contribute to team development.
Assist with staffing levels in line with budgets and seasonal demand.
Operations & Standards
Oversee smooth day-to-day Front of House and outlet operations.
Maintain excellent presentation across front and back of house.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, opening/closing procedures, and cleaning standards.
Lead by example in health & safety practices.
Stock & Financial Control
Monitor stock levels, rotation, waste control and planogram compliance.
Support stock takes and ensure availability across the F&B offer.
Cash up tills, secure stock and cash, and report discrepancies.
Support cost control and maximise sales against budget targets.
Customer Experience
Deliver and uphold exceptional customer service standards.
Handle complaints confidently and professionally.
Commercial & Business Support
Identify sales opportunities and revenue growth ideas.
Support delivery of pop-ups and special events.
