JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to: Bar Manager
Direct Line Staff: Bar Team and Front of House
Pay: DOE
Hours: 16-24 per week
The Stroud Brewery Shift Supervisor, will oversee and ensure the efficient and safe running of the Stroud Brewery Bar for the enjoyment of our customers and promote our beers and brand through a range of events.
Main responsibilities:
To ensure the efficient and safe running of the Stroud Brewery Bar for the enjoyment of our customers and proactively promote our beers, ethos and brand
Bar
Supervising all aspects of running Stroud Brewery bar during opening hours when shift manager is not present
Managing bar staff: overseeing the bar staff team, ensuring all tasks done
Safety: Ensuring the safety of the public during bar opening times
Cleaning and maintenance: Ensuring the venue is kept clean
Cellar management
Line cleaning
Events
Support bar requirements for regular events
Sales
Bar and shop sales during office and bar hours
Visiting venues to promote Stroud Brewery Beers
Running tasting sessions - online, at events
Farmers Market
Staff the Farmers Market stand in rotation with other bar team members
Other tasks as required

Essential

Understanding of craft beer and real ale and their production
Barista/coffee experience
Hospitality experience
Social and online marketing
Experience in content creation and design
