RN - Emergency Department in Deckerville, Michigan at Marlette Regional Hospital

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a RN for our Emergency Department. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in MI.
• Current BLS certificate.
• ACLS required, if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC preferred, PALS will also be considered, if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required, if not completed must be done within 1 year of hire.
• Must pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam within 3 months of hire; may retake test only once -OR- DIMS or CAMMP (Dysrhythmia Interpretation and Management Course) must completed within one year of hire if unable to pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam.
• Previous clinical/ER experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patient, family members, medical and hospital staff; ability to work as a team member.
• Basic clinical evaluation and assessment skills are required for all age groups of patients serviced by the facility for which the individual may be involved in the patient care including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the successful delivery of quality patient care.
