PT Night Audit in Loveland, Colorado at Renascent Loveland LLC

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Loveland Fort Collins is seeking a dependable, professional, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join our Front Office team.

The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service throughout the overnight shift while completing the hotel’s daily accounting and audit procedures. Because this position works during the overnight hours, the ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions, handling guest concerns, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests throughout the overnight shift.
• Perform guest check-ins and check-outs and assist with reservations and room-related questions.
• Complete the nightly audit and end-of-day procedures accurately and on time.
• Review guest accounts, room charges, payments, adjustments, and other transactions for accuracy.
• Identify and research discrepancies before completing the night audit.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest folios.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with requests or concerns.
• Respond professionally to guest complaints and resolve issues within established hotel guidelines.
• Communicate unresolved guest, maintenance, billing, or operational issues to management and the appropriate department.
• Maintain accurate shift documentation and communicate important information to the morning team.
• Monitor the lobby and common areas and help maintain a safe, secure environment during overnight hours.
• Follow hotel procedures regarding guest privacy, security, and emergencies.
• Assist with light front desk and lobby duties as needed.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by hotel management.

Required:

• Dependable and able to consistently work scheduled overnight shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Comfortable handling guest concerns and unexpected situations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding guest and hotel information.

Preferred:

• Previous hotel front desk or Night Audit experience.
• Previous Marriott experience.
• Experience with hotel property-management systems, particularly FOSSE, is a plus.
• Previous customer service, cash-handling, or accounting experience.
