Job Description:
Position Summary
Support USARCENT civilian payroll and time-and-attendance actions through accurate case intake, source-document validation, transaction support, reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
Primary Responsibilities
Review civilian pay and timekeeping actions for completeness, accuracy, proper authorization, and required supporting documentation.
Process or coordinate authorized actions in Government systems and track each item through completion.
Reconcile payroll, time, leave, and related data and research discrepancies using authoritative records.
Provide status and guidance to supported customers without exceeding contractor authority.
Apply independent review to high-impact pay actions and maintain evidence supporting completed transactions.
Track recurring errors and recommend process or training improvements.
Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance. The Government recommends an active clearance at hire.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required Government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
Must read, write, speak, and understand English and maintain professional conduct and appearance.
Must use Government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or removable media are prohibited on Government networks.
Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, antiterrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.
Requirements:
Three or more years of federal civilian payroll, time-and-attendance, or closely related payroll-administration experience.
Demonstrated experience researching pay discrepancies, reconciling records, and protecting PII.
Familiarity with DFAS-supported civilian pay processes and applicable Government payroll/timekeeping systems is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, customer communication, and ability to meet recurring cutoffs and suspenses.
Relevant payroll, accounting, or human-resources education or certification is preferred but not stated as a Government requirement.
