JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a driven and experienced In-House Recruiter to join our growing our business. In this role, you will act as the talent search manager as well as candidate facilitator and provide logistics for all recruiting needs from talent search, interviews, and work with HR team for launching into onboarding. This will be for a variety of roles across the organization and supporting all locations within IMS. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, build diverse talent pipelines, and ensure exceptional candidate experience. You will also work with website and social media accounts to improve company digital presence from the candidate’s perspective. The ideal candidate is passionate about finding top-tier talent and finding the perfect match between candidate skill sets and company culture.
COMPLEXITY & PROBLEM SOLVING
Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Work is reviewed periodically based on a set of defined procedures or precedence. Normally receives general instruction on work and new assignments. This position may also cover working on problems of moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Applies learned techniques and contribute to analysis and investigation to solve problems. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
COLLABORATION & INTERACTION
Develops stable working relationships internally. Exchanges standard/basic information with colleagues and immediate supervisor, project leaders and other professionals in the company. This position may also grow into building productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions. Focuses on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analyzes for review by experienced team professionals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Front End Cycle Recruitment: Manage initial recruiting process, including reviewing job descriptions for accuracy against benchmarking, posting roles, sourcing, initial screening, facilitating interviews and job offer communication. Work with HR Coordinator to launch onboarding and complete the process.
- Talent Sourcing & Attraction: Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and internal databases to proactively identify passive talent and build a robust pipeline for current and future needs.
- Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner with department heads to understand their hiring requirements, define role competencies, and create effective interview strategies. Utilize business objectives to screen hiring needs and report upcoming hiring databases in regular reporting methods.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive, transparent, and timely candidate experience, acting as the main point of contact and providing regular feedback to applicants. Utilize resources to manage the candidate experience, the company reputation online and the attractiveness of the company and its benefits for incoming employees.
- Interviewing & Assessment: Facilitate interview to capture questions and evaluations that are fair and based on the same standards across candidates for the same position, as well as evaluating candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) to monitor recruitment effectiveness and optimize strategies. Understand the competitors and trends in hiring across the region and monitor changes.
- Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices comply with local employment laws and company regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Proven experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or in a similar in-house role, with a strong track record of filling vacancies.
- Familiarity with various social media, hiring and HRIS systems; i.e. Paylocity, LinkedIn, Factory Fix. Utilize Co-Pilot and AI as starting points for tracking metrics and candidate engagement, initial screening, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships.
- Solid understanding of modern sourcing techniques and social media recruiting.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and able to build trend reports quickly.
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in recruiting in the region, understanding of human behavior through courses, prior experience or a combination thereof, Bachelor’s degree in related areas preferred but not required.
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing roles.
- Experience with employer branding initiatives.
