What You'll Do:

  • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain payroll records, deductions, and employee data within the HRIS/payroll system.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR questions related to payroll, benefits, policies, procedures, and HR programs.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment by partnering with hiring managers on job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and lead new hire orientation to ensure a welcoming and positive new hire experience.
  • Administer employee benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and voluntary programs, ensuring enrollments, terminations, and invoice reconciliation are handled accurately.
  • Support the annual open enrollment process through communication, coordination, and employee assistance.
  • Partner with benefits vendors and brokers to resolve employee questions and ensure smooth program administration.
  • Coordinate offboarding processes including exit documentation, exit interviews, benefits transitions, and system updates.
  • Support the administration of the annual performance review and merit increase process, including preparing reports, coordinating timelines, and tracking completion.
  • Serve as an active member of our Culture Crew by supporting employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal events.
  • Assist with HR reporting, recordkeeping, and policy administration.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives designed to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and security when handling employee and credit union information.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of HR experience in a generalist or HR operations role.
  • Experience managing or processing payroll; experience with Paylocity strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Approachable, proactive, and collaborative working style.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
