This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Franchise Business Coach based in the United States.
As a Franchise Business Coach, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of approximately 40–60 franchise owners, helping them build stronger, more profitable, and more sustainable businesses. You’ll combine coaching, financial analysis, operational expertise, and relationship management to turn business challenges into actionable growth plans. The role spans sales, marketing, operations, leadership, team development, and adherence to brand standards. You’ll work closely with franchise owners through virtual coaching, business reviews, field visits, trainings, and industry events. You’ll also partner with cross-functional corporate teams to share insights and strengthen the broader franchise network. This is a highly collaborative, autonomous role for someone who enjoys developing people, improving business performance, and driving measurable results.
- Coach and advise approximately 40–60 franchise owners through virtual sessions, business reviews, field visits, and ongoing communication, identifying challenges and developing practical plans to improve performance, efficiency, and revenue.
- Guide franchise owners across key areas including operations, sales, marketing, leadership, team development, and brand standards, helping them build sustainable and high-performing businesses.
- Review financial statements, operational KPIs, and business trends to identify opportunities, diagnose performance gaps, and translate insights into measurable action plans.
- Drive adoption of established systems, processes, standards, and best practices while helping owners improve consistency, efficiency, and execution.
- Establish strong, accountable relationships with franchise owners through proactive communication, constructive feedback, follow-through, and continuous performance coaching.
- Represent the organization at conferences, regional and national meetings, training sessions, and other events, delivering presentations and supporting franchise candidates and new owners.
- Monitor and support the timely payment of royalties, branding fees, and other financial obligations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate field insights, support strategic initiatives, and ensure franchise owners have the resources and tools required to succeed.
- Contribute to the continued growth and operational strength of the overall franchise network through proactive problem solving and knowledge sharing.
- 5+ years of experience in business coaching, franchise operations, business ownership, multi-unit leadership, or a comparable business performance role, with a demonstrated record of improving results.
- Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret financial statements, operational KPIs, and performance trends and turn them into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional coaching and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, challenge, and hold business owners accountable while maintaining trust and credibility.
- Strong presentation and public-speaking skills, with confidence training and engaging audiences in group settings.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate difficult conversations while delivering direct, constructive feedback with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a portfolio of multiple business owners, competing priorities, and changing demands independently.
- A proactive, dependable approach characterized by consistent communication, sound judgment, problem solving, and strong follow-through.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams, share field insights, and contribute to broader franchise initiatives.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–45% of the time for franchise visits, training, conferences, meetings, and other business events.
- Ability to work remotely from within the United States.
- Base salary of $60,000–$70,000 per year.
