Product Commercialization Manager - Prepaid Issuing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Commercialization Manager - Prepaid Issuing based in United States.

This role leads the commercialization and ongoing management of a prepaid and issuing product portfolio within a sponsor bank environment.
You will shape product strategy and roadmaps that enable fintechs, program managers, and embedded finance partners to launch and scale issuing programs.
The position combines product leadership, regulatory awareness, commercial growth, and partner management.
You will work across compliance, operations, product, finance, network partners, and clients to deliver scalable and well-governed solutions.
From market research and product development through go-to-market execution, you will own the full product lifecycle.
Your work will directly influence revenue growth, operational efficiency, and the experience of partners and their end users.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product and program documentation covering compliance, risk management, regulatory requirements, governance, and operational considerations.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for new issuing solutions and expanding adoption of existing products across the portfolio.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, priorities, roadmaps, and execution plans.
  • Understand partner and end-user needs through research, discovery, market analysis, and ongoing feedback.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key third-party partners and identify opportunities for additional partnerships where appropriate.
  • Manage products throughout their complete lifecycle, from strategic planning and development through implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.
  • Define, monitor, and communicate product performance, key metrics, market trends, and partner or user feedback.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new products and enhancements, coordinating with relevant internal teams to ensure effective execution.
  • Manage product financial performance, including P/L oversight, forecasting, and annual budget planning.
  • Build and maintain expertise in the prepaid, payments, and issuing landscape by monitoring industry developments, attending relevant events, researching competitors, and evaluating emerging opportunities.
  • Ensure product initiatives remain aligned with regulatory obligations, operational requirements, business objectives, and partner expectations.
  • Support additional strategic and operational initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with strong expertise in prepaid and/or deposit products.
  • Demonstrated experience in product management, commercialization, or related financial services environments.
  • Strong understanding of payment products, issuing models, partner ecosystems, and the operational considerations associated with regulated financial services.
  • Experience developing product strategies, managing roadmaps, and taking products from concept through implementation and ongoing optimization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present product strategies, business cases, and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to influence stakeholders across product, compliance, operations, finance, technology, and commercial teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer- and partner-focused approach to product development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment while maintaining ownership of deliverables and deadlines.
Benefits
  • Salary range of $86,000 – $145,000, with individual compensation determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
