The Senior Product Strategy Manager will lead the strategic direction and commercialization of payer-focused products by combining healthcare expertise, market intelligence, and business strategy. This role requires strong ownership of product vision, customer understanding, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and own product strategy for payer solutions, translating customer needs, market insights, and business objectives into actionable 12–24 month roadmaps.
- Conduct client discovery, competitive research, and market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and guide strategic priorities.
- Partner with product leadership and business stakeholders to evaluate market opportunities and support annual planning initiatives.
- Develop product positioning, value propositions, pricing approaches, packaging strategies, and go-to-market plans.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, Engineering, and Product teams to accelerate adoption and commercial success.
- Evaluate product investments based on market demand, competitive differentiation, financial opportunity, and customer impact.
- Lead market validation, business case development, product definition, and requirements creation to support successful execution.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities, automation, and decision-support technologies into healthcare solutions.
- Act as a payer industry subject matter expert, supporting customer discussions, internal enablement, webinars, conferences, and market-facing activities.
- Monitor product performance through adoption metrics, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and post-launch insights.
- Align stakeholders across teams, resolve strategic tradeoffs, and drive execution of high-impact initiatives.
- Partner with service teams to create scalable operating models that support successful product adoption and long-term customer value.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and customer-focused product professional with experience in healthcare technology, payer solutions, and commercial strategy. They should combine industry knowledge with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to influence teams across a complex organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, healthcare consulting, or commercial strategy within healthcare technology, SaaS, or analytics environments.
- Deep understanding of payer operations, healthcare data, claims analytics, and health plan workflows.
- Proven experience translating customer needs and market insights into product strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong knowledge of product development lifecycles, commercialization strategies, and portfolio planning.
- Experience evaluating market opportunities, creating business cases, and prioritizing investments using commercial analysis.
- Experience launching and commercializing enterprise SaaS or healthcare analytics solutions for payer organizations is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using business intelligence, analytics, or visualization tools to support decision-making.
- Familiarity with SQL or similar data analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and drive alignment across competing priorities.

- Competitive salary range of $117,500 - $222,985 annually, depending on location, experience, qualifications, and skills.
