The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of a large-scale endpoint management platform. This role requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance software.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable C++ software features that support core platform capabilities and customer-facing functionality.
- Build and optimize high-performance applications with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and enterprise-level scalability.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust testing strategies to ensure software quality and performance.
- Contribute code regularly and take ownership of delivering production-ready solutions.
- Apply strong knowledge of software design patterns, architecture principles, and engineering best practices.
- Work collaboratively with software engineers, product managers, and designers to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges across operating systems, application performance, and distributed environments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance development processes, tooling, and product capabilities.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced software engineer with deep expertise in C++ development and a strong understanding of systems programming, operating system internals, and large-scale application design. The successful candidate should be comfortable solving complex engineering problems and collaborating across technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of professional C++ development experience, including proficiency with C++14 or newer.
- Experience building applications for Windows, Linux/Unix, macOS, and cross-platform environments.
- Strong expertise designing and implementing high-performance, multi-threaded applications.
- Experience working with operating system internals, particularly Windows or Linux environments.
- Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases covering complex software requirements.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Proficiency with development tools and technologies such as Qt and CMake.
- Experience building and maintaining highly critical systems with strong reliability requirements.
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Competitive annual base salary range of $150,000 – $220,000 USD, depending on location, experience, skills, and market factors.
