Client Success Manager, 340B in Nashville, Tennessee at JAXSCO LLC
Job Description
Who Are We
Driven by transparency, integrity, and a commitment to health equity, JAXSCO is a purpose-driven healthcare management and consulting partner for community-based organizations that traditional healthcare often overlooks. We empower HIV-service organizations, STI prevention programs, LGBTQIA+ clinics, FQHCs, and public health departments by strengthening 340B programs, managing pharmacy and clinic operations, and deploying telehealth solutions to ensure underserved populations receive essential care. Unlike traditional for-profit firms, JAXSCO reinvests a significant portion of its net income directly into partner organizations and their communities, measuring success by our partners' operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and lasting community impact. If you are driven to make a tangible difference in patients' lives while strengthening the balance sheets of vital nonprofit providers. If you are driven to make a direct impact on both patient care and nonprofit sustainability, JAXSCO is the place for you.
What You’ll Do (Job Summary)
The 340B Client Success Manager serves as the primary strategic advisor and performance owner for an assigned portfolio of 340B covered entities. In this role, you will manage the overall client relationship, drive retention, and safeguard program health by aligning each client’s unique pharmacy operations with strategic growth.
Using a proactive, data-driven approach, you will analyze performance metrics to identify revenue capture opportunities, mitigate operational risks, and optimize pharmacy efficiency. You will act as the central point of contact—monitoring workflows, spotting data anomalies, and driving cross-functional problem resolution—to deliver measurable financial and patient-care value.
Essential Job Functions
- Serve as the primary day-to-day strategic relationship owner for an assigned portfolio of clients, building trusted relationships with client leadership, pharmacy, clinical, finance, compliance, and 340B stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain client success plans outlining objectives, priorities, operational risks, expansion opportunities, and action items.
- Establish consistent engagement cadences, lead recurring client meetings, and ensure decisions, action items, owners, and timelines are clearly documented and executed.
- Maintain executive-level client relationships, keeping senior leadership informed of performance, opportunities, and significant operational concerns.
- Monitor, analyze, and translate trends in pharmacy and 340B performance across accounts using financial, utilization, prescription, and operational data.
- Develop and deliver client scorecards and regular business reviews that clearly communicate performance metrics, financial value, trends, risks, and actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to increase prescription capture, pharmacy utilization, patient engagement, and overall program performance (e.g., new eligible locations, pharmacy relationships, or service lines).
- Collaborate with internal matrix team members across Leadership, Business Development, Pharmacy Operations, 340B, and Finance to evaluate and execute account expansion opportunities.
- Participate in prospective client discussions and onboarding implementations when pharmacy, operational, or 340B domain expertise is required.
- Partner with internal operations and external partners (TPAs, wholesalers, pharmacies, providers) to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues affecting prescription capture, replenishment, purchasing, or invoicing.
- Investigate data anomalies, transaction discrepancies, and financial reconciliations, coordinating internal resources to determine root cause rather than resolving single occurrences.
- Act as the main point of coordination and maintain end-to-end ownership of the Client experience, even when issue resolution requires subject matter expertise from other internal departments.
- Educate and enable clients regarding JAXSCO workflows, available reporting tools, and roles/responsibilities within pharmacy and 340B program structures.
- Track Client health indicators, manage contract and renewal timelines, execute account recovery plans when needed, and escalate critical relationship or compliance risks to leadership.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and performance tracking while contributing to standardized Client success templates, playbooks, and scalable best practices.
