Forefront Living is looking for an individual to join us as HR Coordinator filling an in-office role at our Corporate location.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator – Corporate Office provides administrative and operational support to the Corporate Director, People & Culture, the Corporate office, and community HR teammates. This position serves as an administrator of HR systems, coordinates HR projects and processes, maintains accurate employee data and documentation, and helps ensure timely, efficient, and service-oriented support across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supports the Corporate Director, People & Culture, the Corporate office, and community HR teammates in implementing and administering Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and teammate relations support; assists teammates with questions and concerns.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and assists with ensuring policies, procedures, documentation, and reporting are compliant.
• Responsible for the maintenance and administration of all HR systems, including applicant tracking, HRIS, learning management, recognition, performance management, and other systems utilized by the HR team; ensures data accuracy, system integrity, and reporting as needed.
• Manages recruiting efforts through the ATS and other resources for open corporate office positions
• Administers pre-employment background checks, verifies reference checks, completes related new hire paperwork, and assists with onboarding documentation and processes
• Processes payroll bi-weekly for Forefront Living, Forefront Living Foundation, and covers other communities as needed
• Coordinates logistics for meetings, conferences, trainings, travel, departmental activities, and other project-related events, including organizing online meetings as requested
• Prepares and maintains correspondence, memos, reports, charts, tables, graphs, forms, policies and procedures, presentations, and other HR-related documentation
• Identifies opportunities to standardize HR processes, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery across the organization
• Creates and maintains personnel files in accordance with State and Federal recordkeeping requirements and supports accurate documentation retention
• Coordinates and assists with facilitating new teammate orientation
• Provides administrative support for the HR Department, including but not limited to maintaining the calendar and schedule of the Corporate Director, People & Culture, supply ordering, reports and data sharing, correspondence and mailings, meeting and training preparation, and related departmental administrative support
• Performs other related duties as assigned or required by the Corporate Director, People & Culture
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum two years of Human Resources or related administrative experience
• Working knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices, including employment laws, recordkeeping, and confidentiality requirements
• Experience using HRIS and other HR technology platforms, such as applicant tracking, learning management, performance management, and recognition systems
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, payroll processing, and documentation.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to provide responsive, professional, and service-oriented support to teammates and leaders
• Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements as outlined below
• Ability to comply with organizational and departmental code of conduct and safety policies and procedures
