Senior Field Onboarding & Sales Development Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Field Onboarding & Sales Development Manager based in United States.

This role leads the execution and scaling of onboarding and sales development programs for internal sellers, partner sellers, and sales leaders across a global region.
You will translate enablement strategy into practical, high-impact programs that accelerate ramp time, improve seller productivity, and strengthen sales leadership capabilities.
The position combines program management, facilitation, sales training, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving technology environment.
You will work closely with Sales Leadership, Channel, Product Marketing, Technical teams, Marketing, and Sales Operations to keep programs relevant and aligned with go-to-market priorities.
The role offers significant visibility and influence across commercial and enterprise sales organizations.
Success will be measured through stronger seller readiness, increased adoption of sales methodologies, improved engagement, and faster contribution to pipeline and revenue.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the execution of structured onboarding programs for new internal sellers and partner sellers across the assigned region.
  • Deliver onboarding experiences that help sellers quickly understand the sales motion, go-to-market strategy, core sales plays, and expectations.
  • Support the design and delivery of onboarding cohorts, workshops, learning paths, and development programs that accelerate ramp time and time to productivity.
  • Partner with channel teams to ensure partner sellers receive effective onboarding aligned with the broader sales approach.
  • Support leadership development programs for frontline and second-line sales managers, with a focus on coaching, pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and performance management.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person enablement sessions, onboarding cohorts, and sales development workshops using interactive, practical, and real-world selling scenarios.
  • Work with field leaders to drive participation, engagement, and adoption of onboarding and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and subject matter experts to maintain accurate, current, and sales-relevant enablement content.
  • Partner with technical enablement teams to align sales onboarding with technical learning paths and product knowledge requirements.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales Operations, and other enablement stakeholders to maintain consistent messaging and program alignment.
  • Track participation, engagement, program effectiveness, and feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support measurement of business outcomes including ramp time, time to pipeline contribution, seller confidence, productivity, and adoption of sales methodologies.
  • Help reinforce structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or comparable frameworks throughout onboarding and development programs.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Training, Sales Development, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering onboarding and skill-development programs for commercial and enterprise sales organizations.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, workshop delivery, and audience engagement skills across virtual and in-person environments.
  • Understanding of enterprise sales processes, complex buying environments, and partner or channel sales ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting MEDDPICC or comparable sales methodologies and incorporating structured sales frameworks into enablement programs.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with sellers, sales leaders, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales Leadership, Channel, Product Marketing, Technical teams, Marketing, and Sales Operations.
  • Strong understanding of how onboarding, coaching, learning, and enablement can influence seller readiness, productivity, pipeline generation, and revenue outcomes.
  • Data-oriented mindset with the ability to track program participation, engagement, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt programs to changing go-to-market needs.
  • A proactive, inclusive, collaborative, and continuous-improvement mindset, with the confidence to engage stakeholders and drive adoption.
