This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical operations leader to oversee the successful execution of oncology clinical trials across the United States. • Lead and develop teams of clinical operations professionals, including performance management, coaching, talent development, and workforce planning.
• Oversee the operational execution of oncology clinical trials from feasibility through study closeout, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage resource forecasting, workload allocation, and vendor collaboration to support efficient trial delivery and successful implementation of operational strategies.
• Drive process improvements, operational excellence initiatives, and innovative approaches that enhance study execution and site performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), internal procedures, and healthcare compliance requirements while maintaining inspection readiness.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify risks, oversee issue resolution, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) when required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, investigational sites, and external partners to support effective study placement and execution.
• Contribute to long-term organizational strategy by strengthening country capabilities, supporting organizational change, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or similar).
• Minimum of 8 years of clinical research experience within the pharmaceutical industry, a Contract Research Organization (CRO), or investigational site environment.
• At least 2 years of people management experience, with demonstrated success leading and developing clinical operations teams.
• Strong expertise in oncology clinical research, including solid tumor and/or hematology studies.
• In-depth understanding of clinical trial operations, drug development processes, regulatory requirements, ICH-GCP, and healthcare compliance standards.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting resources, and balancing operational priorities across multiple projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to analyze operational data, resolve complex issues, manage change, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional matrix organizations.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
