The OEM Alliance Development Sr Manager will lead the end-to-end development and management of strategic OEM partnerships, from identifying growth opportunities to building sustainable commercial relationships. This role requires a combination of market expertise, solution development, stakeholder management, and strategic execution.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic OEM alliance opportunities across priority markets, including energy, data centers, critical infrastructure, and industrial equipment ecosystems.
- Lead the full alliance lifecycle, including target market analysis, partner engagement, onboarding, relationship development, and long-term growth strategies.
- Develop and commercialize technology-enabled risk transfer solutions that support OEM business models, connected equipment strategies, and digital service offerings.
- Build strong relationships with OEM executives, service providers, technology partners, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Manage complex B2B relationships involving multiple decision-makers, business units, and solution partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver innovative offerings aligned with market needs and customer objectives.
- Identify opportunities involving warranty models, service contracts, performance guarantees, lifecycle solutions, and other risk management structures.
- Develop compelling value propositions and communicate solutions effectively to both technical and executive audiences.
- Drive business development initiatives by understanding customer challenges, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Support the expansion of new commercial solutions through strategic planning, partnership execution, and market development.
- Act as a strategic advisor by providing insights into OEM ecosystems, industry opportunities, and customer needs.
- Navigate complex and evolving environments while maintaining ownership of strategic initiatives and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships, business development, and complex solution sales within technology-enabled or industrial environments.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business, or a related technical or commercial discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliance development, solution sales, partnerships, or related commercial roles.
- 5+ years of experience working with or within OEMs, equipment manufacturers, industrial technology providers, or connected equipment ecosystems.
- Experience with IoT, digital service platforms, equipment lifecycle solutions, warranty models, or technology-enabled service offerings preferred.
- 5+ years managing complex B2B relationships with senior executives, cross-functional teams, and multi-party buying groups.
- Experience developing or commercializing solutions involving risk transfer, service agreements, financial structures, or performance-based offerings.
- Strong understanding of how financial and risk solutions support OEM growth strategies, data monetization, and digital transformation.
- Knowledge of energy, data center, critical infrastructure, or industrial technology sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and business development capabilities.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, innovative environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
