SGS - Vice President of Revenue Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SGS - Vice President of Revenue Operations based in United States.

This executive leadership role is responsible for building and scaling a world-class Revenue Operations function that enables predictable, disciplined, and sustainable growth.
The position serves as a strategic bridge between executive leadership and business execution, transforming corporate objectives into operational plans, systems, and measurable outcomes.
You will lead the development of processes, technologies, analytics, and governance frameworks that support revenue generation across multiple business functions.
Working closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams, you will drive alignment across sales, marketing, business development, communications, and customer engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operational strategy, digital transformation, AI enablement, and enterprise growth optimization.
This role offers the opportunity to influence company-wide performance through data-driven decision-making, process excellence, and scalable business operations.
You will help create the infrastructure and operating model required to accelerate growth in a complex and evolving market.

Accountabilities:

The Vice President of Revenue Operations will establish and lead the organization’s revenue operations strategy, ensuring that people, processes, technology, and data are aligned to support business growth. This executive will provide operational leadership, strategic insights, and scalable frameworks that improve revenue performance across the enterprise.

  • Develop and execute the overall Revenue Operations strategy in alignment with corporate growth objectives.
  • Translate executive priorities into scalable operating plans, governance models, workflows, and performance frameworks.
  • Lead revenue planning activities, forecasting processes, backlog and pipeline management, capacity planning, and executive business reviews.
  • Create executive dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and reporting frameworks to support leadership and board-level decision-making.
  • Establish operating rhythms that improve accountability, transparency, and execution across revenue teams.
  • Serve as the business owner for CRM, business intelligence, revenue analytics, and revenue enablement platforms.
  • Drive AI adoption, automation, digital transformation, and analytics initiatives that improve opportunity management, proposal development, customer engagement, and decision-making.
  • Establish enterprise data governance, reporting standards, and performance measurement practices.
  • Design and optimize business processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Advise business development teams on market strategies, investment priorities, contract vehicles, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead governance processes for opportunity reviews, pipeline decisions, win/loss analysis, customer insights, and post-award performance improvements.
  • Develop frameworks that connect contract performance, customer satisfaction, retention, recompete readiness, and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee marketing and communications operations, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and business development priorities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Revenue Operations organization while fostering accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by delivering strategic recommendations and operational intelligence.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced executive leader with a proven ability to build and scale Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or Growth functions within complex organizations. This professional should combine strategic vision with operational execution and have experience leading transformation initiatives through technology, analytics, and process improvement.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Strategy, Sales Operations, Growth, or related executive functions.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading enterprise Revenue Operations or Business Operations organizations.
  • Experience implementing and managing CRM platforms, business intelligence solutions, AI-enabled tools, and business technology systems.
  • Strong experience supporting C-suite executives and board-level decision-making with actionable insights and reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational transformation, governance programs, and cross-functional operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and operational leadership capabilities.
  • Experience with business development, capture management, proposal operations, and growth organizations preferred.
  • Experience managing Marketing and Communications functions preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal government contracting, GovCon environments, or acquisition processes is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-driven business tools, digital transformation initiatives, and automation strategies is preferred.
  • Experience supporting organizations with complex stakeholder structures, including tribal entities or similar environments, is advantageous.
  • Strong competencies in strategic thinking, leadership development, process improvement, executive reporting, organizational change management, and results-oriented execution.
