Key Account Manager- Earthwise

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Key Account Manager- Earthwise based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to manage strategic customer relationships and drive growth within a sustainability-focused business environment.
You will develop partnerships with major retail and distribution customers while delivering solutions that support environmental goals.
The position combines account strategy, business development, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to key clients while helping expand innovative reusable product solutions.

You will work with internal teams to deliver customized solutions, strengthen customer loyalty, and support sustainable growth initiatives.

Accountabilities:

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing strategic national accounts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening customer partnerships within grocery and distribution markets. This role requires strong commercial expertise, strategic account planning capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue, profitability, customer retention, and market share.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted business partner for assigned national accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product offerings, increase account penetration, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead customer business reviews, strategic planning discussions, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Development, Design, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing teams to create customer-specific solutions.
  • Coordinate private label programs, product launches, and customer marketing initiatives while ensuring successful execution.
  • Resolve customer challenges proactively and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams.
  • Achieve sales, margin, and profitability objectives through effective account management and business development.
  • Analyze market trends, customer performance, competitive activity, and sales data to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, account updates, and strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and business agreements that support customer needs and company objectives.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, customer meetings, and strategic business sessions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, opportunities, and account plans while managing multiple priorities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced account management or sales professional with a proven ability to grow strategic customer relationships and deliver measurable commercial results. Success in this role requires strong business judgment, relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, national accounts, sales, business development, or related commercial roles.
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships and delivering measurable revenue growth.
  • Background selling within grocery, retail, foodservice, packaging, consumer products, sustainability, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong ability to develop account strategies, negotiate agreements, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience using sales data, market insights, and customer trends to guide decisions.
  • Ability to travel nationally for customer meetings, business reviews, trade shows, and company events.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of approximately $80,168.40 to $135,000 annually, based on experience, education, and location.
