This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Manager based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape impactful content strategies for major client partnerships across diverse industries.
You will combine strategic thinking, creative writing, and client collaboration to deliver content that drives engagement and business results.
Working across digital channels, you will transform complex ideas and audience insights into clear, compelling, and effective messaging.
The position requires a balance of independent ownership, editorial excellence, and strong relationship-building skills.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across content, marketing, design, SEO, and development to create integrated experiences.

Accountabilities:

The Content Manager will lead content strategy and execution for strategic client initiatives, ensuring every piece of content aligns with business objectives, audience expectations, brand standards, and performance goals.

  • Lead client discussions to understand objectives, provide strategic recommendations, and confidently present content approaches and solutions.
  • Own content strategy development from initial concept through execution, ensuring alignment with audience needs, business priorities, brand voice, and regulatory requirements.
  • Research target audiences, industries, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform content strategies and editorial decisions.
  • Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content across multiple formats, including articles, web pages, emails, social media content, and digital advertising.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and workstreams, delivering polished, accurate, and impactful content independently.
  • Collaborate with clients throughout review cycles, incorporating feedback while maintaining strategic consistency and content quality.
  • Create scalable content resources, including toolkits, templates, and editorial guidelines to support efficient content production.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, reliability, strategic thinking, and effective project management.
  • Partner with SEO/AEO specialists, paid media teams, designers, and developers to deliver cohesive multichannel campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content performance, strengthen messaging, and enhance overall content operations.
  • Apply AI-powered tools thoughtfully to improve research, ideation, and workflow efficiency while maintaining editorial quality and judgment.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced content strategist and writer with strong client-facing skills, excellent editorial judgment, and the ability to create compelling content for complex audiences. They combine creativity, organization, and strategic thinking to deliver measurable impact.

  • 7+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, editorial work, or related roles, preferably within a creative agency or digital marketing environment.
  • Proven experience managing client-facing projects and developing content strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and high-impact content across various digital formats.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Ability to explain strategic decisions and the reasoning behind content recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, audience segmentation, messaging strategy, and content optimization.
  • Experience researching industries, audiences, and competitive landscapes to inform content decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing client requirements.
  • Experience with SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices, including keyword strategy, content optimization, and AI-driven search evolution.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and workflows for content creation, research, and productivity improvements.
  • Understanding of UX writing principles and digital experience best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with design teams and familiarity with tools such as Figma is a plus.
  • Ability to work Pacific Time hours, generally from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PT.
  • Previous healthcare content experience is strongly preferred.
