Manager, Retail Virtual Advice Delivery

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Retail Virtual Advice Delivery in Canada.

This is a leadership role focused on driving high-performing virtual sales and advice teams within a modern retail banking environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of Virtual Advisors, ensuring strong customer engagement, high-quality advice delivery, and consistent achievement of sales and service objectives. Acting as both coach and performance leader, you will build a culture centered on client-centric solutions, accountability, and continuous improvement. The role blends people leadership, sales management, and operational oversight within a remote advice model designed to deepen client relationships at scale. You will also play a key role in enhancing the virtual advice experience, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. This position is ideal for a results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused financial services environment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead and develop a virtual advisory team while ensuring strong sales performance, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client experience.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Virtual Advisors to strengthen customer relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions.
  • Drive team performance by monitoring sales results, identifying gaps, and implementing targeted coaching and improvement strategies.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture aligned with organizational values, sales principles, and conduct standards.
  • Support the achievement of strong customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance across the virtual advice channel.
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales and deepen client engagement through virtual channels and broader banking relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management, regulatory requirements, and internal policies including AML, KYC, and privacy standards.
  • Maintain advisor readiness through ongoing training, product knowledge updates, and compliance reinforcement.
  • Contribute to the evolution and optimization of the virtual advice model to enhance client and advisor value.
  • Manage team development, including succession planning, performance reviews, and talent growth strategies.
Requirements

This role requires strong leadership experience in retail or virtual sales environments, combined with deep financial services knowledge and regulatory awareness.

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, retail banking, or virtual advice/contact center environments.
  • Strong expertise in coaching and managing sales teams to achieve performance and customer experience goals.
  • Deep knowledge of retail and small business banking products, services, and operating procedures.
  • Strong understanding of sales management methodologies, including coaching, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with banking systems, CRM tools, and internal workflow platforms used in retail banking environments.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks including AML, privacy, KYC, and financial compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Ability to balance customer experience, risk management, and business performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in succession planning, talent development, and performance management is highly valued.
