Gaslight Property is a Cincinnati-based property management company with a love for vintage buildings, great neighborhoods, and doing things right. We manage a large and lively portfolio—and we’re looking for a sharp, organized, and detail-obsessed Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to help keep our financial engine running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Reviewing, coding, and processing vendor invoices like a pro
• Catching duplicate payments before they sneak through
• Reconciling accounts and clearing up invoice issues
• Auditing move-out charges and making sure supporting documentation is attached.
• Tracking big purchases (appliances, HVACs, etc.). Registering products for warranties and maintain asset records in our fixed asset tracking system.
• Making sure vendors have their paperwork in order (COIs, W-9s, ACH Payment information).
• Maintaining Vendor Service, Contract, and Purchase agreements.
• Spotting red flags (weird charges, repeat services) and flagging them to operations
• Teaming up with property staff to solve billing mysteries and get ahead of issues

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of accounts payable or similar experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred; however, equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software (Entrata, Yardi, ResMan = extra points)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• You’re a natural problem-solver who stays organized under pressure
• Think like an owner. Identify Cost Reduction Opportunities
• Act Like an Entrepreneur. Identify opportunities and efficiencies.
• Bonus: Familiarity with property management or rental housing
