About This Position
The Paid Social & Programmatic Senior Specialist is a hands-on, performance-driven digital marketer within the Media team. This role is designed for a channel expert who thrives in execution, optimization, and problem-solving across paid social and programmatic platforms, while collaborating closely with Managers, Directors, and cross-channel partners.
This individual is responsible for day-to-day campaign implementation and optimization across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon DSP, DV360, The Trade Desk, and direct buys. The ideal candidate can independently manage tactical execution with minimal oversight, while actively developing their strategic thinking, client-facing skills, and account ownership.
Senior Specialists own the first-round development of assigned deliverables and work with senior team members for review and approval. While some guidance may be provided on high-level strategy or client communication, this role is expected to progressively take on more responsibility for campaign performance, project ownership, and proactive recommendations.
A successful Senior Specialist is detail-oriented, analytically strong, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams efficiently. This role requires comfort presenting performance insights, fielding client questions, and understanding how individual execution impacts broader account profitability and agency success. Ongoing learning is expected, including growth in tagging, tracking, privacy considerations, and IAB standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage day-to-day paid social and programmatic campaign implementation with minimal supervision
- Own first-round development of assigned campaign deliverables, including builds, optimizations, and reporting
- Effectively manage personal workload across multiple campaigns and workstreams while meeting deadlines
- Participate in client communication and presentations, including performance discussions and Q&A, with guidance as needed
Technical Programmatic:
- Plan, traffic, buy, optimize, and report across paid social and programmatic platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Amazon DSP, TheTradeDesk, and direct buys
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of platform mechanics, algorithms, and optimization levers across paid channels.
- Analyze and communicate campaign performance in a clear, actionable manner that supports optimization and next steps.
- Knowledge of IAB (standard) creative specs and how to inform a client on best creative practices
- Ensure proper account structure, tagging, tracking, and measurement setup
Education Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Marketing, or Management Degrees preferred)
Management Experience:
- 1-3 years of Digital Marketing Experience, Paid Social, Programmatic Display, Direct Buys, Ad trafficking, and/or related experience
- Must have a strong grasp of numbers and be comfortable with data analysis and reporting
- Proven record of strong organization and ability to work across multiple teams
Skillset:
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort interpreting data, trends, and performance metrics.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills across multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
