Warehouse Specialist- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at AIS Commercial Parts and Service – Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Warehouse/General labor

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders. Delivering inventory to field service technicians, In addition to managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

• Prepare orders Pull, properly pack, and ship items
• Track shipment arrival and departure times
• Receive inventory in the warehouse daily
• Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile packages and materials
• Tag and label parts and supplies with accuracy
• Organize stock and inventory within the warehouse in their designated location
• Record and report impaired or damaged items
• Replenish inventory for field technicians
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
• Organize and clean warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• May also assist in counting of physical inventory Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Works well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
• Computer literate
• Type 45 WPM, 10-key
• Team Player
• Dependable
• Organized
• Multitasker
• Driver's license and acceptable driving record

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
• Comply with all applicable OSHA standards
• Continuous sitting in an office environment
• Continuous use of hand and finger dexterity when operating a keyboard
• Continuous use of sight to view information on a computer screen
