Product Content Specialist at Snavely Forest Products, Inc – PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania

About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Product Content Specialist to manage, optimize, and publish product data and digital assets across our online channels. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our customers have accurate, complete, and compelling product information – from our website and digital catalogs to major retail platforms.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) or Product Experience Management (PXM) platforms such as Salsify, and a strong understanding of how high-quality product content drives sales and brand trust.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams to ensure product information is precise and aligned with business goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Audit, validate, and optimize product data and make corrections in the current system – Salsify PXM
• Update and enrich product content
• Ensuring listings meet channel standards and brand requirements.
• Collaborate with marketing and IT teams.
• Handle bulk uploads and manage media assets.
• Transform product data into marketing-ready formats for use in catalogs, sell sheets, and digital or print collateral.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years equivalent experience in a similar role
• Ability to work in the office Monday – Friday, Daylight
• Hands-on experience with Salsify or similar PIM systems.
• Experience preparing product content for upload
• Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/CSV and digital asset handling.
• Comfortable learning and navigating digital platforms/portals (Salsify, IDM, Vendor Gateway)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (or similar image editing software) for resizing, cropping, and optimizing product images
