Organization Name: Diagnostic Pathology Medical Group, Inc. (DPMG).

HRtoGO is pleased to announce that we are posting an HR Generalist position on behalf of our client, DPMG. This role will support a population of 210 employees in CA and NV, with the support of an HRtoGO Consultant and will be based at 3301 C St #200e, Sacramento, CA 95816.

Position Overview: The HR Generalist serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR inquiries, delivering responsive support and guidance to employees and managers. This role manages a wide range of HR functions, including employee onboarding and offboarding, routine employee relations support, leave administration, HRIS maintenance within Paycom, and compliance activities such as HIPAA audits and mandatory training oversight. The HR Generalist ensures accurate documentation, efficient administrative processes, and timely communication through daily HR inbox management. Using sound judgment, the role independently resolves routine HR matters and appropriately escalates complex or sensitive issues to external Senior HR Support to ensure legal compliance and alignment with organizational policies.

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8-5.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Acting as first point of contact for internal HR inquiries.
  • Handles routine employee relations matters by providing guidance, conflict resolution support, and policy interpretation, while promptly escalating complex, high-risk, or legally sensitive issues to outside Senior HR Support.
  • Onboardingnew hires, admintasksand data entry. Offboardingpaperwork and administration.
  • Facilitate and participate in employee counseling and termination meetings.
  • Personnel file management. Keep employee forms up to date and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • Owning Paycom on the HR sideincluding regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Leave managementincluding evaluating eligibility, tracking and reporting to management.
  • Manage MediaLabtrainings assignments and tracking. Conduct HR training.
  • Employee handbook interpretation and enforcement. Daily HR inbox email management and responses.
  • HIPAA compliance audits every two years.
  • Stay abreast of legal changes that could affect DPMGs employees and policies.
  • Using discretion to make decisions on handling HR matters or escalating to outside Senior HR Support.
  • Manage FSA election reporting each pay period, ensuring accurate submission to the FSA vendor (BRI).
  • Proactively monitor and respond to Paycom system notifications to maintain payroll and benefits accuracy.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Administrator to ensure employee benefit elections are accurately reflected through correct payroll deductions in Paycom.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; and 5+ years related experience.
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent; 3+ years related experience.
  • Bachelors degree (B.A.) and one to two years related experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75,000-$80,000/year
