Advanced Technologies Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Advanced Technologies Architect based in Canada Canada.

This role is a high-impact architecture position focused on building the next generation of AI-enabled content and knowledge platforms that power global training and enablement ecosystems. You will design and govern scalable SharePoint-based architectures that ensure learning content is structured, discoverable, and continuously optimized. The position sits at the intersection of information architecture, enterprise systems, and applied AI, enabling smarter content creation, reuse, and governance at scale. It requires translating complex business and learning needs into sustainable technical solutions that improve speed, quality, and compliance. You will work closely with global stakeholders across IT, enablement, and business teams to shape how knowledge is created and consumed. The environment is highly collaborative and innovation-driven, with strong emphasis on AI, automation, and user experience. This is a strategic role with direct influence on enterprise learning transformation.

Accountabilities:
  • Design and own the end-to-end architecture of SharePoint-based training and enablement platforms supporting global content ecosystems.
  • Define and implement information architecture components including metadata models, taxonomy, permissions, site structures, and lifecycle governance.
  • Integrate and apply AI capabilities such as intelligent tagging, semantic search, summarization, recommendations, and content quality insights.
  • Lead implementation of SharePoint solutions, including workflows, configurations, and integrations with LMS, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Establish and enforce content governance frameworks covering creation, approval, versioning, compliance, and retirement processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant platform design.
  • Enable adoption through documentation, templates, playbooks, and guidance for content owners and administrators.
  • Continuously monitor platform usage and performance to drive improvements in architecture, AI features, and user experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in SharePoint architecture, content management systems, or enterprise knowledge platforms.
  • Strong expertise in information architecture, metadata design, taxonomy development, and content governance practices.
  • Experience applying AI, automation, or advanced search technologies within content or knowledge management environments.
  • Ability to translate business, learning, and enablement requirements into scalable and secure technical architectures.
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems such as LMS, CRM, or digital enablement platforms.
  • Strong collaboration skills working across IT, marketing, enablement, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
