  • Lead architecture design efforts for complex systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability across multiple platforms and technologies
  • Oversee and guide technical teams, including organizing, delegating, and reviewing work outputs in alignment with project objectives
  • Support the design and execution of large-scale radio and communications network modernization initiatives
  • Analyze system performance across different environments and recommend improvements based on structured methodologies and ITIL principles
  • Produce clear, fact-based technical recommendations, reports, and architectural deliverables for stakeholders and governance bodies
  • Translate business and operational requirements into technical architecture, data models, and system designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across government ministries, vendors, and technical teams to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Contribute to middleware, integration, and gateway design decisions within complex enterprise environments
  • Support planning, transition, and deployment activities for large-scale infrastructure modernization programs

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in P25 radio technology, including design and/or support in complex communication environments
  • 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing or administering P25 radio networks
  • Hands-on experience with encryption tools such as KMF, KMF workstation, and KVL
  • Experience with Motorola tools such as ZoneWatch, Provisioning Manager (PM), and Unified Event Manager (UEM) or equivalent systems
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale distributed systems, communications protocols, and multiple operating environments
  • Experience in systems architecture design, enterprise architecture deliverables, and structured development methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to work in high-complexity environments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and recommendations
  • Strong leadership abilities, including mentoring, delegation, and coordination of technical teams
  • Ability to obtain OPP Level 4 Security Clearance

Benefits:

  • Competitive contract compensation aligned with senior-level architecture expertise
  • Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale public safety modernization program
  • Remote work flexibility with structured project governance environment
  • Exposure to complex, mission-critical infrastructure used by emergency responders
  • Collaboration with multiple government ministries and high-level stakeholders
  • Hands-on involvement in enterprise-scale architecture and modernization initiatives
  • Work on one of the largest public safety radio networks in North America
  • Engagement in a high-impact role supporting critical national infrastructure
