This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Architect, Microsoft D365 F&SCM based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture, ERP transformation, and hands-on technical leadership within large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 programs. You will act as a key technical authority across Finance and Supply Chain Management implementations, shaping architecture decisions that directly impact system scalability, performance, and business process efficiency. The position involves working closely with clients to translate complex operational needs into robust technical solutions spanning integrations, data migration, security, and reporting. You will also guide development teams, ensuring best practices across customization, deployment, and lifecycle management. Beyond delivery, the role contributes to client advisory work, solution design during pursuits, and executive-level communication on technical strategy. It is a highly visible position within enterprise transformation programs, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong consulting capabilities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the technical architecture design and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management solutions across complex enterprise environments.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, including user stories, architecture blueprints, and system integration specifications.
  • Oversee and guide development of customizations, enhancements, workflows, and data migration strategies using X++, Azure, and related tools.
  • Design and implement integration frameworks across ERP, Power Platform, Dataverse, APIs, and external enterprise systems.
  • Lead technical workstreams including security, application configuration, data management, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Facilitate client design sessions and ensure alignment between business processes and technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across Dynamics 365 and legacy AX environments.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development and project team members.
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Build trusted advisory relationships with client stakeholders and executive leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 6–10 years of experience in Microsoft ecosystem consulting, including multiple full lifecycle implementations of Dynamics 365 F&SCM or AX.
  • Proven experience as a lead technical architect on at least 1–2 end-to-end D365 Finance & Supply Chain implementations.
  • Strong expertise in X++ development, Azure services, LCS, DevOps, and Power Platform tools.
  • Experience with data architecture and integration tools such as Dataverse, Data Lake, Synapse, SQL, and Data Factory.
  • Deep understanding of ERP architecture, including security models, workflows, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong consulting and communication skills with ability to engage executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI and SSRS, and integration frameworks like OData and APIs.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-500, AZ-303/304 or equivalent) are highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills in complex enterprise environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with base salary estimated between CAD 160,000 – 180,000.
  • Total compensation potential up to CAD 225,000 including performance-based incentives.
  • Eligibility for annual bonus and incentive programs aligned with performance.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Wellness and employee support programs.
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact digital transformation programs.
  • Career growth within a global consulting and technology transformation environment.
  • Exposure to leading-edge Microsoft technologies and enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Collaborative, client-facing role with significant leadership visibility.
