Job Description
Patient Care Technician
Must have a HS Diploma or GED. If candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED the following requirements must be met must be actively working towards high school diploma/GED and receive within 2 years of hire. Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire. CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred. If assigned to the Parkview Randallia Family Birthing Center PCTs must be bonded as a notary public within 6 months of hire for those 18 years and older. Minimum of 1 year experience working in the patient care setting preferred but not required. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
