Lead a high-impact HR department and shape a culture of excellence

Are you a strategic, people-focused HR leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys guiding teams toward success? We’re seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee a comprehensive HR program and serve as a trusted partner to leadership, employees, and HR staff. In this role, you’ll provide direction, drive compliance, support workforce planning, and help foster a positive, engaged, and mission-driven workplace.

What You’ll Do

Manage, direct, and supervise HR staff and departmental activities to support the facility’s mission and initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, corporate, and accreditation requirements—including TJC standards. Oversee staff development and training programs, including monthly new employee orientation and required in-services. Lead workforce planning, retention strategies, and staffing compliance across the facility. Build strong relationships through regular visibility in departments and employee living areas, promoting HR support and engagement. Monitor employee safety concerns and ensure proper documentation of Workers’ Compensation claims. Manage the employee relations program, including grievances, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and supervisory coaching. Oversee personnel file maintenance, background checks, and credential verification in accordance with TJC and corporate policies. Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting initiatives, career fairs, and requisition management within the ATS. Support facility leadership in managing staffing matrices and position control. What We’re Looking For

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required) Experience

Five (5) years of Human Resources experience, including supervisory or team-lead responsibilities (required) Experience with HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (required) Experience in an in-patient mental health facility or hospital (preferred) Experience with healthcare regulatory agencies—such as TJC or CARF (preferred) Why Join Us?
