About This Position

This role is responsible for the daily administration and performance of consumer, commercial, and mortgage loan origination systems.

Primary Responsibilities
System Management & Optimization
- Perform ongoing maintenance and periodic reviews of assigned systems.
- Continuously evaluate systems to identify challenges and opportunities for business process and system improvement; develop comprehensive solutions in response.
- Monitor and mitigate emerging information security threats related to assigned systems.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Proactively engage with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Project Leadership & Change Management
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of new business processes or systems.
- Lead applicable project teams’ evaluation, coordination, and release note change management processes.
- Ensure business risks and impacts are identified, understood, and managed.
- Administer technical and business process changes to Test and Production systems, ensuring proper change management documentation is created and adherence to approval gates occurs.
Project Coordination
- Conduct or coordinate user acceptance, performance, stress, regression, and integration testing.
- Oversee and/or directly manage project activities, including but not limited to project plans, evaluating new processes for adverse impacts, creating conversion scripts and test cases, updating workflows, modifying and running reports.
- Support business line personnel in updating operational procedures and developing training to boost productivity and reduce risk.
Compliance, Quality Control & Support
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support
- Support IT Tech inquiries; provide daily operations and system support to colleagues.
- Support internal and external audit reviews and risk assessments.
- Recommend corrective actions to management and initiate projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and all applicable state and federal regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience managing loan business systems and compliance processes.
Desired Education and Experience
- Advanced knowledge of the Mortgage, Commercial, and Consumer lending business; generally demonstrated by 7+ years working as a part of a Mortgage, Commercial, or Consumer lending operations team, or in a related Compliance role.
- Report writing and data analytics experience preferred
- Project management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance relating to consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending.
- Knowledge of loan documentation for consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans.
