OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Recreation Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational activities that promote wellness and engagement among our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for health and fitness, excellent organizational skills, and experience working in a similar environment.

Duties

Develop and implement a diverse range of recreational programs tailored to guest interests and wellness goals.Coordinate daily activity schedules ensuring smooth operation of all recreational offerings.Lead group activities such as, outdoor excursions, and wellness workshops with enthusiasm and professionalism.Collaborate with staff to ensure activities meet safety standards and accommodate guests' needs.Maintain equipment, supplies, and activity spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety at all times.Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all guests, with a welcoming environment.Collect feedback from participants to continuously improve program quality and engagement.

Requirements

Prior experience in recreation coordination, preferably within a university or educational setting.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members.Ability to lead group activities with enthusiasm and professionalism.Knowledge of wellness principles and recreational programming best practices.Flexibility to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends as needed.A background or familiarity is considered a valuable asset.
