Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Wellness Program Director to lead our comprehensive wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for health promotion, expertise in behavioral health, and the ability to inspire individuals toward healthier lifestyles. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing wellness programs that integrate fitness, nutrition, and behavioral strategies to support our clients' health journeys. Facilitating lectures and offering guests individual appointments.

Duties

Develop and oversee innovative wellness programs tailored to diverse client needs, incorporating elements such as health coaching, personal training, yoga, and nutrition education.Lead a team of health professionals, including fitness instructors, nutritionists, and behavioral health specialists, fostering a collaborative and motivating environment.Design individualized care plans that address weight loss goals, behavioral change strategies, and overall well-being.Conduct training sessions on motivational interviewing techniques and behavior modification to enhance client engagement and success.Monitor program outcomes through assessments and feedback, adjusting approaches to optimize results.Promote a positive atmosphere by encouraging active participation in wellness classes.Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain high-quality service delivery across all wellness offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in health coaching, personal training, or wellness program management within a health club or similar setting.Strong knowledge of nutrition, weight loss strategies, behavioral health principles, and fitness programming.Demonstrated expertise in motivational interviewing and developing effective care plans for diverse populations.Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate clients through engaging instruction in yoga or other fitness modalities.Familiarity with designing comprehensive wellness programs that incorporate behavioral change techniques.Certification in personal training, health coaching, or related fields is preferred; additional certifications in yoga or nutrition are advantageous.Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on fostering positive relationships and inspiring clients toward their health goals.
