Job Description
Description:
Position Objective: This position is responsible for performing a wide range of skilled construction tasks while complying with the company policies, procedures, OSHA safety standards, and any applicable laws.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive service assignments; analyze the request for material and equipment required; and properly report any items removed from the plant
- Respond to the location of service and analyze each requested service issue
- Repair items that are factory responsibilities
- Repair items that are the responsibility of others if an adequate agreement has been reached between the factory and customers.
- Complete a detailed occurrence report after items repaired
- File all paperwork generated for each service call
- Return any unused material to the factory and report the returned material on the appropriate form
- Return defective materials and/or equipment
- Maintain accurate credit card and cash receipts for all purchases and expenses and submit them along with the travel log
- Monitor the condition (cleanliness and maintenance) of the service vehicle and equipment; ensure it is maintained in good working order
- Inventory and maintain tools and equipment in the service trucks and ensures all are in good working condition
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients
- Be very detail oriented and well organized
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
- Be skilled at problem solving and analysis
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum of Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Familiarity with modular construction processes
Job Requirements
- Good physical strength, stamina, and mobility to handle lifting (often 25–75 lbs.), stand or walk for long shifts, and perform tasks like bending, climbing, and working in tight spaces. The role also requires manual dexterity for using tools and handling small parts, along with good vision and awareness for safety. Physically active job that involves repetitive motion and working in varying environmental conditions.
