Job Summary
A growing restoration services company is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Restoration Coordinator to support daily operations and project flow. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, dispatching field personnel, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring efficient communication between customers, technicians, and project managers.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask effectively, and enjoys solving problems while delivering excellent customer service. Experience in restoration, construction, logistics, dispatching, or related industries is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Scheduling
- Receive incoming service requests and emergency calls
- Prioritize requests based on urgency and operational needs
- Assign and dispatch technicians and field personnel to job sites
- Coordinate schedules and adjust assignments as priorities change
- Plan routes and job assignments based on geography, technician availability, and customer needs
Operations Coordination
- Monitor field operations and track job progress using dispatch software
- Maintain communication with field staff, customers, and management teams
- Provide updates regarding job status, delays, and scheduling changes
- Support project planning and execution to ensure smooth workflow
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate job records, work orders, notes, and project documentation
- Update job tickets and operational systems regularly
- Ensure compliance-related tasks are completed daily and accurately
- Organize project photos and supporting documentation as needed
Customer Service
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
- Resolve scheduling and operational issues quickly and effectively
- Help ensure a positive customer experience throughout the restoration process
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Additional training or certifications in dispatching, logistics, emergency management, or related fields is a plus
Experience
- Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, restoration, logistics, transportation, construction, or a related field preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with dispatching software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
