Electrician Project & Estimating Manager for Serve Electric in Tampa, FL

Serve Electric is growing its Tampa operation and we're looking for someone who's been in the field, knows how to lead a crew, and is ready to take ownership of projects start to finish, including estimating, customer relationships, and helping grow the business. You don't need to have done it all before, but you need to be ready to.

We work on industrial electrical: control panels, ESA upgrades, machine electrical. If you've been a foreman or lead electrician managing work in the field and you're hungry for the next level, we want to talk.

What you'll be doing

• Managing electrical projects from kickoff through closeout: scheduling, budgeting, field supervision, and documentation
• Estimating and quoting jobs (primarily up to $250k)- you'll grow into larger work as the branch grows
• Supervising field technicians and being the person they call when they need answers
• Serving as the main point of contact for customers: managing expectations, quoting additional work, and building relationships that drive repeat business
• Identifying new opportunities through jobsite visibility, referrals, and your own network
• Reading and interpreting control circuits, control panels, and electrical drawings
• Overseeing (and sometimes performing) ESA upgrades to machines and equipment
• Reviewing work orders and approving invoices

What we're looking for

• 3–6 years of electrical experience, industrial strongly preferred (commercial is transferable, residential-only won't work here)
• Experience leading or supervising field crews (foreman, lead electrician, or similar)
• Some exposure to estimating, quoting, or project management- you don't need to have done it for years, but you need to understand the work well enough to price it
• Comfortable talking to customers, managing expectations, and following through
• Florida county Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license
