Job Description

VP Partnerships

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP Partnerships based in Canada.

This is a senior, high-impact leadership opportunity focused on accelerating enterprise growth through strategic partnerships and complex commercial relationships.
You will help expand the organization’s presence among leading brands, agencies, and ecosystem partners across the creator economy.
The role combines market strategy, enterprise sales, partnership development, and executive-level relationship management.
You’ll build and manage a high-value pipeline while shaping scalable approaches to enterprise deal-making and partner engagement.
Working closely with product, marketing, operations, and executive leadership, you’ll translate market insights into differentiated growth strategies.
You’ll also serve as a visible industry representative, helping strengthen the organization’s position in influencer marketing and social media.
This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven leader who thrives in fast-moving, data-informed environments and enjoys turning strategic relationships into measurable business outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive enterprise partnership strategy: Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities across enterprise brands, agencies, and relevant partner ecosystems, translating customer and market insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Generate significant revenue: Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline, develop new partnerships, and consistently pursue opportunities that contribute substantial net-new revenue.
  • Lead complex negotiations: Own high-value enterprise negotiations and structure commercially compelling agreements that create measurable value for clients while supporting scalable business growth.
  • Develop strategic relationships: Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across global brands, agencies, and platform partners, positioning the organization as a strategic partner rather than simply a vendor.
  • Shape enterprise solutions: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure offerings evolve in line with enterprise requirements across influencer marketing, branded content, measurement, and related areas.
  • Build scalable processes: Establish repeatable partnership and sales frameworks that improve deal velocity, strengthen partner satisfaction, and support sustainable enterprise growth.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership: Align partnership priorities with broader business objectives and work closely with product, marketing, operations, and other internal teams to deliver effective enterprise solutions.
  • Represent the organization externally: Participate in conferences, industry events, client meetings, and other forums as a senior thought leader and brand ambassador.
  • Use market intelligence: Conduct competitive and market analysis, apply data-driven insights to decision-making, and continuously refine partnership strategy based on emerging opportunities and trends.
  • Develop industry positioning: Stay current on developments across the creator economy, social media, and influencer marketing to strengthen enterprise positioning and identify new avenues for growth.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise sales, partnerships, business development, or a closely related commercial leadership function, ideally within SaaS, martech, social media, or the creator economy.
  • Proven enterprise sales success, including a strong track record of negotiating and closing large, complex deals with major brands and agencies.
  • Deep industry expertise in influencer marketing, social media, creator ecosystems, or related digital marketing markets, supported by an established network of industry relationships.
  • Leadership and scaling experience, with demonstrated ability to develop partnership or enterprise sales teams, establish repeatable processes, and consistently deliver against ambitious growth objectives.
  • Exceptional executive communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex commercial discussions, and build long-term trust.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, including experience using CRM and analytics platforms such as Salesforce to manage pipelines, evaluate performance, and guide commercial decisions.
  • Customer-centric and commercially minded approach, with the ability to connect customer needs and market trends to long-term business opportunities.
  • Comfort with change and ambiguity, combined with resilience, resourcefulness, curiosity, and a strong bias toward measurable impact.
  • Collaborative leadership style, with emotional intelligence, transparency, accountability, and the ability to build strong relationships across functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or other advanced degree is considered an asset.
Benefits:
  • Base salary: $175,000–$225,000, depending on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
  • Significant uncapped commission opportunity through a variable compensation structure.
  • Market-based compensation approach, with salaries benchmarked using third-party compensation data and reviewed regularly.
  • Comprehensive benefits package available to permanent team members as part of the overall compensation offering.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including fully remote opportunities for eligible positions.
  • Inclusive and equitable workplace culture, with an emphasis on diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and building teams around complementary strengths.
  • Opportunities to work at the forefront of the creator economy, influencer marketing, social media, AI-powered technology, and data-driven marketing.
  • Executive-level visibility and impact, with the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, partnerships, and long-term growth.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a fast-moving, innovation-focused environment.
