- Lead the technical vision, architecture, and execution of core backend systems that support critical business operations and customer transactions.
- Drive the modernization of legacy automation frameworks, improving scalability, fault tolerance, observability, and maintainability.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to establish architecture standards, best practices, and robust development processes.
- Balance hands-on technical contributions with team leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and strategic planning.
- Design and implement systems capable of handling complex asynchronous workflows, distributed state management, and external system integrations.
- Identify and resolve reliability, performance, and scalability challenges while continuously improving system success rates.
- Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and automation strategies to accelerate development and support future growth objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical initiatives with product goals, customer needs, and long-term business priorities.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, Lead Architect, Founder, or similar leadership role.
- Strong hands-on software engineering background with expertise in backend systems, distributed architectures, and scalable platform design.
- Deep understanding of asynchronous processing, workflow orchestration, state management, fault tolerance, and retry mechanisms.
- Demonstrated ability to modernize legacy systems and drive architectural transformations in high-growth environments.
- Strong system design skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
- Experience working with cloud-native technologies and modern backend development frameworks.
- Proficiency with technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js/NestJS, GraphQL, AWS services, containerized environments, or comparable technology stacks.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a passion for identifying edge cases and improving system performance.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development workflows and automation tools is highly desirable.
