Equipment Technician at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Applicants for consideration must be currently enrolled in a local Respiratory Therapy Program.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

*Cleaning/disinfecting equipment and setting up ready for next use;

*Maintaining an appropriate inventory of respiratory supplies and placing timely orders when necessary;

*Unpacking boxes of respiratory supplies and equipment;

*Maintaining appropriate inventory of respiratory supplies and equipment in patient care areas throughout the hospital;

*Upon request, transporting respiratory supplies and equipment to patient care areas;

*Assisting with exchange of medical gas cylinders;

*Recognizing when equipment is broken and/or not working properly and reporting to the appropriate Respiratory Department member;
