Medical Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking a medical assistant at our Pediatric Heath care Clinic. We are looking for an MA who demonstrates great work ethics, dependability, and the ability to work in a team approach. We are also looking for someone that loves working with the pediatric patient population. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, patient triage, medication reconciliation, phoning in prescriptions, medication administration, documentation, responding promptly and appropriately to our patient phone calls, scheduling tests and assisting with procedures. Vaccine knowledge is preferred but not required. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5 pm. An excellent benefit package is offered.
