Health Educator in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Health Educator works with the Mujeres Con Confianza Project Coordinator to educate CareLink members and providers about endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome and fibroids. The Health Educator is responsible for conveying basic health information about these topics and directing members to further resources.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree required. Two years of experience in an inpatient, ambulatory or community setting is preferred. Experience in public speaking and/or educational presentations demonstrating effective communication skills is required. English/Spanish fluency is required. Additional credentials (CDE, CHES) are beneficial. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License, auto liability insurance, and a reliable automobile.
