About This Position
Position Summary
The Recruiter for Courier Network, Inc. is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and presenting to qualified candidates. This role works closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensures timely placement of top talent. The Recruiter will also play a key role in promoting the company’s employer brand and enhancing the candidate experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Post job openings on company websites, job boards, and other recruitment platforms.
Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet position specific requirements.
Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics between candidates and hiring managers.
Ensure timely communication with all applicants to provide a positive candidate experience.
Manage a high volume of open requisitions and prioritize roles based on hiring needs.
Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events.
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
Present job offers, negotiate terms, and manage candidate communications through first contact to acceptance.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for frequently hired roles.
Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and improve hiring efficiency.
Partner with the Human Resources Department and management to support diversity, equity and inclusion hiring initiatives.
Maintain accurate records in the application tracking system and ensure compliance with hiring policies.
Represent the company at appropriate events, and industry networking opportunities.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or a related field preferred.
1-3 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high volume environment.
Familiarity with employment laws and best recruiting practices.
Prior experience sourcing candidates for a variety of roles and levels across departments is a plus.
