The Finance Implementation and Support Consultant is responsible for supporting clients throughout software implementation, adoption, and ongoing usage while ensuring financial solutions meet business needs. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, client communication skills, and the ability to translate financial requirements into effective technology solutions.
- Provide high-quality client support while ensuring service commitments, customer satisfaction, and timely issue resolution.
- Manage customer implementations from initial analysis through configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
- Analyze client requirements and recommend appropriate system setups, workflows, and reporting solutions.
- Deliver user training sessions and create documentation, guides, and learning materials to support successful adoption.
- Troubleshoot application issues, investigate root causes, and provide functional solutions or workarounds.
- Manage support tickets by prioritizing requests, documenting resolutions, and ensuring accurate follow-up.
- Collaborate with software development and technical teams to identify bugs, improve functionality, and deliver product enhancements.
- Participate in project planning, implementation activities, client demonstrations, and business development initiatives.
- Develop expertise in financial software capabilities and apply this knowledge to resolve client challenges.
- Support the integration of AI-enabled tools and automation solutions to improve reporting, documentation, analysis, and support processes.
- Contribute to product improvements by identifying opportunities for automation and enhanced user experiences.
The ideal candidate is a finance-focused technology professional with experience in financial systems, reporting, implementation, and client-facing consulting. They should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial processing, business processes, and financial reporting.
- Experience handling client inquiries, requests, and issue resolution in a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel-based reporting tools, report writing, and business applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with SQL or similar data modeling technologies.
- Practical experience using AI tools for activities such as documentation, data analysis, reporting, or client communication.
- Ability to quickly learn and adopt AI-enabled features within enterprise software solutions.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with healthcare finance systems, ERP implementations, or financial software support is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions is an asset.
- Exposure to AI-driven financial forecasting, anomaly detection, automated reporting, prompt engineering, or AI assistants is a plus.
- Experience with user acceptance testing and software implementation projects is preferred.
- Competitive salary range of $80,000–$99,000 CAD.
