As a Marketing Project Manager, Brand and Comms, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-impact marketing initiatives while ensuring alignment between internal teams and external partners. You will manage complex projects, support brand growth, and help improve communication strategies through data-driven insights and strong execution.
- Lead the planning and delivery of brand marketing initiatives, including analyst relations, industry awards, PR campaigns, and thought leadership programs.
- Partner with external agencies, media contacts, analysts, and internal stakeholders to coordinate communications activities and strengthen relationships.
- Manage award submission timelines, content development, and collaboration across teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Support the creation of press releases, case studies, and storytelling materials that showcase business impact and innovation.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and budgets for marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans while tracking progress, managing risks, and resolving execution challenges.
- Coordinate collaboration between design, content, digital, and product marketing teams.
- Maintain communication calendars and ensure alignment with regional and functional stakeholders.
- Serve as the central point of contact for project updates, stakeholder communication, and external partner coordination.
- Monitor campaign performance, measure impact, and provide recommendations to improve future initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize marketing processes and improve project execution efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in brand marketing, communications, and project management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with diverse stakeholders. You should combine strategic thinking, strong organization, and excellent communication skills to successfully deliver impactful initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing projects within brand marketing, public relations, and communications.
- Strong understanding of PR activities, analyst relations, awards programs, and brand storytelling.
- Experience managing agencies, external partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and complex workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating and editing marketing content.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with media, analysts, internal teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and consulting environments is an asset.
- Familiarity with AI and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI agents to improve workflow efficiency is a plus.
- Temporary 18-month position with a salary range of CAD 70,000 to CAD 110,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
