This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager based in Canada.

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will own the strategy and execution of customer engagement programs across the full lifecycle journey, from acquisition through retention and expansion.
This role combines creativity, technical marketing expertise, and data-driven decision-making to build impactful customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will design and optimize multi-channel campaigns that increase activation, engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth.
Working closely with growth, revenue, product marketing, and data teams, this position will transform customer insights into scalable marketing initiatives.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a marketer who enjoys building, testing, analyzing, and improving campaigns in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
The role offers the chance to directly influence customer success and contribute to the growth of an innovative technology platform.

Accountabilities:

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and optimizing customer journeys through targeted, personalized, and measurable lifecycle programs. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical execution, and analytical expertise to drive business outcomes.

  • Own and continuously improve the customer lifecycle strategy, identifying engagement trends, conversion opportunities, and customer drop-off points.
  • Build and execute multi-channel lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, in-app messaging, sales sequences, and automated nurture flows.
  • Partner with marketing, revenue, growth, and product teams to translate customer insights into campaigns that improve activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies and leverage behavioral data to create personalized customer experiences.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize messaging, content, timing, and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Data teams to ensure accurate customer data, automation workflows, and reporting capabilities.
  • Own lifecycle reporting and analytics across platforms such as HubSpot, Amplitude, GA4, and Pendo, tracking key metrics including engagement, retention, activation, and upsell performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing automation, processes, and customer communication strategies.
  • Use AI tools to enhance content creation, campaign analysis, optimization, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will bring hands-on lifecycle marketing experience, strong analytical capabilities, and a passion for creating customer-focused growth programs. They should be comfortable owning execution while collaborating across multiple teams in a startup SaaS environment.

  • 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, marketing operations, or marketing automation.
  • Experience working in a startup SaaS environment with responsibility for building and optimizing customer journeys.
  • Proven ability to create, launch, and improve cross-channel lifecycle campaigns from strategy through execution and analysis.
  • Experience supporting both product-led growth and sales-assisted growth motions, including activation, nurture, upsell, retention, and churn prevention programs.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Amplitude, Pendo, Customer.io, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of email, SMS, and in-app messaging best practices, segmentation, experimentation, and personalization.
  • Ability to analyze customer behavior and product usage data to develop actionable lifecycle strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to align stakeholders across marketing, revenue, product, and data teams.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools in daily workflows to improve marketing execution and decision-making.
  • Nice-to-have experience includes HubSpot certifications, HTML for email development, predictive modeling concepts, behavioral data integrations, SMB customer journeys, and high-volume sales funnel optimization.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of $110,000–$125,000 CAD, depending on experience, seniority, and demonstrated impact.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility across Canada.
  • Employer-paid healthcare and dental benefits for Canadian employees.
  • RRSP matching program.
  • Generous parental leave policy.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Mandatory paid time off during the first week of employment.
  • Monthly company-wide Friday days off.
  • Company-wide holiday shutdown between Christmas and New Year’s.
  • Annual company retreat and team-building opportunities.
  • Learning and development opportunities to support career growth.
  • Home office setup stipend.
  • Internet and phone allowance.
  • Weekly Friday paydays.
